Hello! I’m Sonya Kopetz.

For over 30 years, I’ve been a graphic designer, fascinated with how simple shapes, lines, and colors can spark deep emotions. And behind the scenes, I’ve also had another lifelong habit: collecting words. I’ve filled countless notebooks with inspirational quotes and have always found big joy in being a “cheerleader” for others—whether for my family, my friends, or my clients.

Several years ago, life was turned upside down through a very challenging time. I designed a card to express my gratitude for the support that I received. The act of creating and sharing that card ignited something new in me. It reminded me that there is so much beauty in our journeys and while we are all navigating our own paths, we are never alone.

This is how Onward Art was born.

What started as a single card has grown into a greeting card line dedicated to the beauty of the journey. I’m still exploring where this path leads, but for now, I’m focused on creating art that encourages us all to keep going.
